What Is Mediation?
Mediation is an informal process where disputing parties
meet with trained, impartial mediators to describe their concerns, listen to
each other, and develop solutions that work for both parties. The mediation
process empowers disputing parties and allows them to take full responsibility
for resolving their concerns.
Who Are the Mediators?
Our mediators are experienced volunteers with comprehensive
training approved by the Mediation Network of North Carolina (MNNC). Upon
completion of all necessary requirements, mediators are awarded MNNC
certification. Some have also achieved Superior Court certification. Call today
for information if you wish to become a volunteer mediator.
